How much is shipping?

In general a small package such as a medium print will be roughly ZAR100 - ZAR140 within South African borders. Paintings will be quoted separately for courier and depending on the size will be packaged by an external body to ensure safety during courier. Collection is of course most welcome if you live in my studio area (Southern Suburbs, Western Cape) as I would love to meet you.  For international courier, I use an external body to help with correct packaging, courier regulations and taxes etc. and will request a quote which will be sent directly to you.

Do you do commissions?

Yes, I am happy to create a beautiful bespoke work of art just for you. I price my work according to the size of the canvas and can easily provide you with the pricing to suite your budget and scale. Email me with the rough proportions and I will send you a quotation. No obligations and no hard sell. We can then talk through the process and details such as colouring and further specifics. Please note a 50% deposit is required, which will be deducted from the final sale price. I understand ordering a commission is not well suited to many and I really want you to be delighted with your  original piece so if the commission does not immediately warm your  heart then I will endeavour to paint another to choose between.

I want to buy a painting as a gift for someone else - how do I do this?

You can either select a piece from what is available on my website or you can purchase a Gift Voucher. This can be redeemed against any available artwork, print or commission. I email you the jpg / pdf versions to print.  Alternatively a blank canvas is also a fun way of giving the Gift Voucher.

Are paintings framed?

Generally, paintings on stretched box canvas are sold unframed, with the sides painted and backing hooks and string screwed into the stretcher frame so that the work is ready to hang.  Paper prints are packaged with backing board or rolled depending on the size. Canvas prints come rolled, or there is the option of having the canvas print box stretched. Please enquire about the additional cost. Also note it will affect the courier costs. Framing is highly personal and in general I avoid framing, unless specifically asked for.  I’m happy to put you in touch with my local framers, who know my work.

Visiting my studio

My home studio is in Lakeside, Cape Town. You are most welcome to make contact with me (+83 313 2387) to set up a time to come visit. I generally have some medium prints and a few pieces on the easel.
